EDIBLE FAT AND OIL PRODUCT contains basic knowledge of edible oil and fat products such as cooking and frying oil, shortening, Vanaspati (vegetable ghee), margarine, butter, ghee, emulsifying agent, and other fat and oil products. This course also introduces the students to the preparation of edible products such as ghee, mayonnaise, ice-cream, margarine and chocolate from oils and fats.
